Thwaites Gala

Nine of the group members enjoyed a glorious sunny afternoon, though a bit breezy, for a gig at Thwaites Gala, at The Green near Millom.

The performance was interrupted by the fly-past of the Dakota, but we waved our bachi at him like mad, and it gave us the excuse to start the number again! We enjoyed sandwiches, tea and cakes courtesy of the village hall, much needed after our fine efforts playing The Butterfly, Echoes and Shadows and Scratch Taiko.

Thanks to all those that lugged drums from cars, and had them living at home for a week.
